Our school is a non-profit-making kindergarten which was founded by The Hong Kong Council of the Church of Christ in China (HKCCCC) in 1981. We have a spacious campus equipped with music rooms, playrooms and rooms for gross motor activities. With rich teaching resources, we adopt an integrated child-centred curriculum to support children's engagement in different activities.
With the love of Christ, compassion for humanity and a progressive attitude,
we strive to deliver a quality education, to develop students’ potential to the fullest,
to share with them the Gospel, and to cultivate in them a sense of good citizenship which will benefit our society and nation.
Our curriculum is designed based on child-centredness which aspires to foster active learning and cultivate children's exploratory spirit. With small-group teaching, we aim to enhance interaction between teachers and students. We provide support to meet different needs of our students, for example, a week for adaption is arranged for the new students to get used to the school life step by step. To prepare K3 students for linking up to Primary One, we arrange primary school visits, a primary-one stimulation week and parties for them. Besides, for taking good care of the students with special needs, on-site Pre-school Rehabilitation Services are now available at our school. Relationship with parents is very important to us. We hold different kinds of parent-child activities regularly, such as sports day, school trips, lunar new year market day, parent-child reading scheme and paired reading activities. Through events like Parent Talks, class observation for parents and Parents' Day, we let parents understand more about our curriculum and the children's learning progress as well as sharing our experience in child education. While these activities and events help build a close home-school relationship, we work together with parents to support children's learning and development. Furthermore, to enhance home-school cooperation, we liaise with parents closely through our "Parent-teacher association". We meet parents and design different kinds of parent-child activities together each year.
